Inventory Planning
Bring Only What You Need
Avoid cluttering your inventory with RuneScape gold unnecessary items. Carry essentials like:
Food (e.g., Sharks, Monkfish, or better)
Prayer potions or Super restores
Teleport items for quick escapes (e.g., Teleport Tabs, Amulets of Glory)
Relevant potions (e.g., stat-boosting, antidotes)
Special items required for the boss or activity (e.g., special runes, keys)
Leave Space for Loot
If you’re bossing or doing clue scrolls, always keep free inventory slots for valuable drops. Full inventories mean missing out on loot.
Emergency Items
Consider carrying a few extra items for emergencies:
Stamina potions for running
Items to boost defense or offense mid-fight
Escape teleports or items to switch worlds quickly
Gear Planning
Choose Gear Based on Activity
Bossing: Use gear that maximizes your damage output or survivability depending on your role (tank, DPS, etc.).
PvP: Prioritize fast teleports, defensive gear, and items that reduce risk on death.
Skilling: Comfort and convenience often matter most here—bring gear that boosts XP or reduces item weight.
Balance Offense and Defense
Don’t sacrifice survivability for damage alone, especially in dangerous areas. High-defense armor or protection prayers can save your run.
Use Items with Special Effects
Gear like the Amulet of Torture, Toxic Blowpipe, or Dragonfire Shield can turn the tide in boss fights or PvP. Make sure your gear includes these when applicable.
Consider Weight and Run Energy
Heavy armor slows you down and drains run energy faster. For longer trips, lightweight gear with run-boosting perks can improve your mobility.
Examples for Different Activities
Bossing (e.g., Zulrah): Toxic Blowpipe, Serpentine Helm, Void armor, Mage or Ranged gear, plenty of anti-venom.
Wilderness PvP: Rune armor or Barrows gear, quick teleports, food, and a Protect Item prayer switch.
Skilling (Fishing, Woodcutting): Lightweight gear, teleport tabs, and cheap RS gold items that boost your chosen skill.
